Ultrafiltration SystemsUltrafiltration (UF) is rendered with a separation process by employing membranes with pore sizes. The Ultra Filtration Spiral Elements can eliminate colloidal materials, high molecular-weight substances, and organic as well as inorganic polymeric molecules. Offered with low molecular-weight organics these dont remove calcium, magnesium chloride, sodium, and sulfate from water. Provided with low applied pressures, these can achieve high flux charges from the UF membrane. These have extremely high fluxes and have practical with assorted operating pressures. The filtration process of these is similar to Reverse Osmosis, and employs hydrostatic pressure to force water via a semi-permeable casing.
